Sew Fresh: A Button-Sewing Workshop with The Consistency Project

  • The Consistency Project 374 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn, NY, 11217 United States (map)

🧵✨ Give new life to forgotten pieces with The Consistency Project!

We’ll learn how to sew buttons onto deadstock garments—reviving them for a new chapter in your wardrobe. Along the way, you'll pick up practical sewing skills and engage in thoughtful conversation about circular fashion, care, and conscious consumption.

Join us for a hands-on workshop with Natasha Halesworth, founder of The Consistency Project, who works to reimagine American workwear through sustainable practices—offering reworked vintage denim and deadstock garments in an inclusive, personalized retail experience.

All supplies will be provided, including a button-down shirt, buttons, needles, and thread—and you'll get to take your garment home! You're also welcome to bring your own pieces that may be missing buttons for some extra care and mending.
